Student book corresponding to the European level A2 belonging to the series deutsch.com, German course for the E.S.O. that takes advantage of the knowledge of English and the mother tongue.
The Workbook is used for consolidating and repetition of the study material in the Coursebook. The broad range of exercises comprises contrastive exercises in addition to exercises for grammar, vocabulary and verbal expressions, enabling comparisons with a previously acquired foreign language and the native language. There are also exercises on phonetics and vocabulary as well as tasks for self-testing and evaluation. These last points allow for the portfolio concept of the European Reference Framework.
A four-page plateau at the end of each module can be used either for self-study or in the classroom. Here, the subjects and learning material of the entire module are repeated – with a focus on skills training and additional cultural information. There is a project suggestion at the close of each module which is designed for timing and content so that it fits into classroom work.

Das Arbeitsbuch dient der Vertiefung und Wiederholung des Studienmaterials im Kursbuch. Das breite Übungsangebot umfasst kontrastive Übungen sowie Übungen zu Grammatik, Wortschatz und verbalen Ausdrücken, die Vergleiche mit einer bereits erworbenen Fremdsprache und der Muttersprache ermöglichen. Dazu kommen Übungen zu Phonetik und Wortschatz sowie Aufgaben zum Selbsttest und zur Bewertung. Diese letzten Punkte berücksichtigen das Portfoliokonzept des Europäischen Referenzrahmens.
Ein vierseitiges Plateau am Ende jedes Moduls kann entweder zum Selbststudium oder im Unterricht genutzt werden. Hier werden die Themen und Lernmaterialien des gesamten Moduls wiederholt – mit Fokus auf Kompetenztraining und kulturelle Zusatzinformationen. Am Ende jedes Moduls steht ein Projektvorschlag, der zeitlich und inhaltlich so ausgelegt ist, dass er in die Unterrichtsarbeit passt.
